This blog has three purposes:

  • to expand and extend critical debate nationally and internationally about current matters of policing practice, learning and leadership

  • to promote the use of research evidence in policing practice and policy

  • to share knowledge about policing among police practitioners and leaders, researchers, educators, policy makers and community.

We invite SIPR Members to submit short (2 to 4 page) expert "Briefings" for inclusion within this section. For more information on SIPR Briefings, please download a template.

We also invite SIPR Members to submit longer (maximum 8 page) "Research Summaries" for inclusion within this section. For more information on SIPR Research Summaries, please download a template.
