The Scottish Institute for Policing Research (SIPR) and Police Scotland Postgraduate Student Award were introduced in 2015 to encourage those who had completed, or who were working towards, a masters or doctoral award in a topic that is related to policing, to present their research in a supportive environment.
The awards for 2016 were announced as:
Award for Best Presentation :
Claire Taylor, Abertay University
Award for Best Poster :
Richard Jefferies, UWS
Winners of the Best Poster Award (Claire Taylor) and Best Presentation (Richard Jefferies) with Supt Andrew Todd.
