Scottish Institute for Policing Research

SIPR & University of Strathclyde Engagement Event

The Scottish Institute for Policing Research was delighted to host an engagement event at the University of Strathclyde, bringing together colleagues and partners for discussion in a welcoming and reflective environment.

The event opened with introductions from Professor Churnjeet Mahn and Dr Beth Weaver, who set the scene for the day and framed the key themes for discussion. Their opening remarks highlighted the importance of collaboration and shared learning across research, policy and practice.

SIPR Director Dr Andrew Wooff delivered the main presentation, providing insight into current priorities and ongoing work across the Institute. His contribution prompted thoughtful discussion and engagement from attendees.

We would like to thank everyone who joined us and contributed to what was a valuable and engaging session. Events such as this play an important role in strengthening connections across our network and supporting evidence informed policing in Scotland and beyond.
