Policing, Power and the Public | Professorial Lecture with Professor Liz Aston

Hear Professor of Criminology and SIPR Director Liz Aston share key findings from research on local policing, including stop and search and public perspectives on the use of technology in policing. Her professorial lecture highlights the importance of engagement, harm reduction, and accountability to public confidence in policing. The event is opened by Edinburgh Napier Principal Andrea Nolan and concluded with a Q&A session led by Professor Gary Hutchison.
