EARLY CAREER RESEARCH GRANTS UPDATE FOR 2026 AND ONWARDS!

We are pleased to announce that SIPR’s Early Career Researcher Grants are now open on a rolling basis. 👏

We recognise that research ideas and collaboration opportunities do not always align neatly with fixed deadlines. Moving to a rolling call allows early career researchers to apply when their proposal is ready, offering greater flexibility and responsiveness to emerging priorities in policing research.

The ECR Grants are designed to support innovative, evidence informed projects that strengthen connections between research, policy and practice.

If you are an early career researcher working in policing and related fields, we encourage you to explore the scheme and apply at a time that works for you.
